Modern MRI
We deliberately chose a modern magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device with a larger opening and shorter "tube" than conventional MRI devices, the SIEMENS Aera 1.5 Tesla – particularly suitable for people with claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces).
The MRI machine has a 1.5 Tesla magnet, making it a true high-field MRI and delivering significantly higher image resolution and image quality compared to the previous classic open "sandwich MRIs." We therefore agree with the opinion of the regional university hospitals that rely on these systems. The length of the "tube" is now only 125 cm, with an internal diameter of 70 cm. This is large enough to bend your legs and is suitable for patients with claustrophobia.
Particularly quiet
Our MRI machines feature state-of-the-art technology and are therefore significantly quieter than older generation MRI machines.
The equipment is supplemented by two additional SIEMENS 1.5 Tesla devices.
Bright, modern MR examination rooms
With the new indoor location, we can make the MRI examination as pleasant as possible for patients with claustrophobia thanks to special bright and friendly room designs, lighting, including sky simulations.
