ultrasound

An ultrasound examination (sonography) is a procedure that does not involve any radiation exposure and can therefore even be used during pregnancy. The principle of sonography is based on the use of ultrasonic waves in the inaudible range and can be used on all soft tissues.

The examining physician receives two-dimensional live images that give him an idea of the size, shape, and structure of the examined area via a monitor. Ultrasound examinations require an experienced diagnostician, as the quality of the examination results depends heavily on the examining physician.

We perform the following examinations, among others:

  • Abdomen, liver
  • Neck, thyroid gland
  • Mom
  • lymph node
